Handmade to order
A handmade lamp that glows like a candle and never burns down — no flame, no wax, no smoke. You choose what it carries: any verse you like, or the names of the people you love set in glyphs. Each one is printed and assembled for the person who asked for it.
Why they look like that
It breathes, it doesn't just shine
Most lamps sit at one brightness and stay there. This one wavers — a slow, uneven flicker tuned to look like a candle rather than a bulb pretending to be one. Put it on a shelf at dusk and it reads as firelight from across the room.
Verse lamps
Any passage you want — the one read at your wedding, the one you go back to at 2 a.m., the one that belongs to somebody you're buying this for. We lay it out across the four faces and it becomes the lit part of the lamp.
The three below carry Psalm 119 only because we had to render something — think of them as the shapes and finishes to choose between, not three fixed products. The words are yours.
Arched pierced
Your verse cut right through the panel, so the light doesn't fall on the words — it comes out of them. The arched crown gives it the shape of a chapel window, and in a dark room that's very nearly all you see.
Arched relief
Nothing is cut. The panel stays whole and your words are raised out of it, so they surface as warm shadow instead of open light. This is the quieter one — the one people put on a nightstand and leave on.
Flat pierced
The plainest of them, and the one most people choose first. A straight square tube with your verse cut through all four faces — nothing competing with the words, from any angle you walk past it.
The Tablet Lamp
Four tablets, four passages, one story
Each tablet carries scripture in the language it was written in — the Ten Commandments in Paleo‑Hebrew, the alphabet in use when they were given, and two passages from the Gospels in the Greek they are preserved in. Turn it and they run in order: the Law given, the Law summed up by Christ, and the prayer He taught.
This is the one lamp with nothing to choose and nothing to get wrong, which is exactly why it's the one people buy when they're buying for someone else. Every lamp ships with a printed card explaining what each tablet says, in both the original and in English.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.”Psalm 119:105
Name lamps
The cartouche is the oval the Egyptians drew around a name worth protecting. We set one name per face — so a single lamp can hold an entire family, and everyone finds themselves on it.
Cartouche pierced
A dark face with the ring and the glyphs cut clean out of it, so each name is where the light gets through. Turn it and the next person in the family arrives. It makes an unreasonably good gift.
Cartouche relief
The same four names, exactly inverted: the whole face glows and the names stand dark against it. Softer, and easier to live with in a room you actually sit in — more lamp, less lantern.
Design yours
Lay out your own lamp on screen and watch it fall across the four faces before anything is made. The verse designer is live now; the name designer is close behind.
Verse lamps
Type any passage and watch it break across the four faces — so the line you care about lands where you want it, instead of wherever it happens to land. Pick your shape and finish on the same screen.
Name lamps
Type in four names and watch each one resolve into its cartouche, then choose whether the light comes through the names or glows behind them.
What you get
No app, no pairing, no account. Touch the base to change how it glows, and power it from any USB‑C charger you already own.
Two further versions are in the works — one that pairs with your phone for custom colours, and one that plays its own sound. Everything shown here is the current model, ready to order today.
Order
Lamps are made to order and usually ready to ship in one to three days. There's no checkout here yet — for now, put together a list of what you want and send it over. It takes a minute, nothing leaves your browser until you send it, and we'll come back to you with a proof and a price.
Made for weddings and anniversaries, baptisms and confirmations, housewarmings and Christmas — or in memory of someone, carrying the verse that was read at the service.
